Extensions
A fast, flat floor that matches the existing house level.
Fast, flat and ideal for underfloor heating. We supply and install anhydrite and cement-based liquid screed for extensions, new builds and commercial floors across London and the South East.

Liquid screed, also called flow screed, is a self-levelling floor screed that’s pumped into place rather than laid by hand. It flows out across the floor, finds its own level and sets to a smooth, flat surface ready for your final flooring.
There are two main types. Anhydrite screed uses a calcium sulphate binder, lays very flat and conducts heat well, which makes it the go-to choice over underfloor heating. Cement-based liquid screed behaves the same way but can go in wet areas and be force-dried sooner. We’ll tell you which one suits your floor.
Because it’s pumped, a liquid screed floor can be laid much faster than traditional screed, up to 500m² in a single day, with far less labour on site.

Pumped straight into place, so large areas are finished in a single day.
Self-levelling means a consistently flat surface with minimal preparation before flooring.
Can be laid thinner than traditional screed, keeping floor heights down and loads lighter.
Flows fully around the pipes with no air pockets, so heat spreads quickly and evenly.
Low shrinkage means fewer cracks and curling than sand and cement.
Light foot traffic is usually possible after 48 hours.

A fast, flat floor that matches the existing house level.

Whole ground floors, and upper floors on beam and block, laid quickly to keep the build on programme.

The best way to encase wet underfloor heating pipes for efficient, even heat.

Large open areas in offices, retail units and apartment blocks.
We check the floor area, base, levels and access, and give you a fixed price.
We lay the membrane, fit edge insulation strip around the walls and set the levels across the room.
The screed is pumped in, spread across the floor and dappled to release air and give an even finish.
We leave clear guidance on ventilation, drying times and when to sand the surface and lay your flooring.

Liquid screed costs around £30 per m² supplied and installed, based on a floor of about 150m² at 75mm. The final price depends on depth, floor area and access for the pump. Larger areas cost less per m² because the pump and crew set-up is spread across more floor.

A self-levelling floor screed pumped into place. It sets to a flat, smooth finish and is ideal over underfloor heating.
For large floors and underfloor heating, usually yes: it’s faster, flatter and can be laid thinner. Traditional screed is better where you need falls, a bonded finish or a very hard-wearing surface.
We usually lay liquid screed at 50–70mm, with 15–20mm of cover over underfloor heating pipes. Deeper pours are possible but take longer to dry.
Light foot traffic is usually fine after 48 hours. Heavier loads and flooring need to wait until it’s properly dry.
