Meet Luke Almandras
Floorscreed-SR1 is a family business. My dad started the company in 2000, and I grew up in the trade, learning it on his jobs. Today I’m on site with the team every day, backed by everything the business has learned over 25 years.
Over those years the business has screeded floors in family homes, new-build developments, offices and heritage buildings across London and the South East. The jobs have changed, with more underfloor heating, more liquid screed and bigger open-plan spaces, but the basics haven’t. A floor has to be laid at the right depth, to the right level, and left to dry properly. Cut corners on any of those and it shows later.
That’s what Floorscreed-SR1 has always been about: giving customers a floor they never have to think about again. We price jobs honestly, turn up when we say we will, and I’m on site to make sure the work is right.

We lay quality screeds and levelling compounds from Retanol, ARDEX and Ronacrete, and we’ll recommend the right product for your floor, your heating and your timescale.
